I felt sorry for the laptop. I cannot imagine the working conditions it had to suffer. It's probably a dust haven inside, and the keyboard has never been cleaned once.

There is no other third party text editor more efficient and lightweight than Notepad++ on Windows. I only use Notepad++ on Windows, to save my CPU cycles and RAM.

This makes it sound like only Pop_OS! has the applications listed for it and they are not available for macOS. It's also funny that macOS has application installs sorted and the Pop_OS side starts listing paths. :))

I am not sure if it's only me, but as time passes I find myself using more and more simple Terminal stuff. No fancy air/earth lines, no fancy formatting, no fancy ligatures or typefaces.

Those patches were broken to begin with when submitted to Vim, and never got fixed until NeoVim was forked out of the blue. People generally don’t know the details of this, and blindly blame Bram.

I think he does not like to go with the flow, but instead implement things the way he thinks best suited and best performant with Vim. I don't think he cares about NeoVim.

LOL. Not at all. Mac keyboard shortcuts are explicitly more reachable than its Windows counterparts. Try reaching alt+f4 versus command+w/q. Also macOS incorporates more keyboard shortcuts than any other OS. You will need to elaborate

It's just that no one got around to that yet, also a login screen without disk encryption does not mean much. For reference, there's a drive encryption[1] implementation on alpha status, but it needs to be merged and reworked into
