From what you wrote you seem to tend to treat devs as human CPUs and not as intelligent people that might be much more capable than anyone in the management and who are naturally complex problem solvers (no offense, MBA is easier than under

Meta AI employees will privately tell you Google, Open AI and a bunch of others are much more advanced than them. For some reason Google can't capitalize on it and it can't be because "AI is not in their DNA"...

They already did the miniaturization with iPhone 14 Pro which is why I asked. I don't really need to go through a rationalization why this ugly hack is good for me.

I am talking mostly about replacing the ugly cut-off at the top with a "smaller hole" instead, not really caring about any software functionality from iPhones.

Do we know if Apple is getting rid of the notch for M3 macbooks in favor of the "dynamic island" solution from iPhone 14 Pro?

A move to chiplets would be just prolonging their terminal suffering if they didn't replicate Haswell in the first Ryzen chips, making them somewhat performance-competitive and due to chiplets also economically viable with the ability

Given Meta and Google are slowly turning into another Amazon (e.g. by an influx of Amazon managers bringing their "culture" with them) and Amazon is now paying competitive, I don't think that would be a big medium-term proble

I used to get the best ideas when I decided to do something completely different in the middle of a problem, e.g. walk/bike to a forest etc., allowed by WFH. Suddenly something clicked and I figured out the solution. However, most comp

It's weird how AMD managed to make RDNA 3 such a letdown given RDNA 2 fought with 3090/3090 Ti neck to neck in raster performance whereas 7900XTX is at the 4080 level. They use a much better node compared to RDNA 2 as well but are

There was a startup in SF that tried to do that using iPhone video feeds as one walked around the room, but they went belly up recently and whatever tech they created was siphoned to another platform startup.
