I'd be interested to know about your habits in hs to see if there is any behavioral correlation. ie: did you go to class? do homework? spend more time on projects that were non-school related? etc.

Thank you. I was an NMSQT semi-finalist, but not a finalist, so I'm fairly certain I don't qualify as an NMSQT Scholar however, by your definition, I probably aced it. The extent of my studying (for any standardized test) was taking an SAT

I've been doing the same as you, unfortunately due to changes in cofounder structure, which has a pretty large impact on the application. I am currently under the impression that all of the applications are reviewed by at least one partner

"(believe me, it takes MONTHS (or even years) of dedication to actually ace the PSAT or SAT)" I'm disinclined to believe this statement. Would you mind taking the time to prove this for me? Also, what is considered an "ace" score? In my exp

Was going to mention this as well. socket.io falls back to long polling, so you have to be careful when trying to produce benchmarks based only on websockets. I didn't see this in the server code so I assume the default transports were used

Agreed, but I would put it slightly differently. Every goal has a percentage likelihood of success, your job (as the goal-reacher) is to increase the likelihood of desired outcomes. Ex: Moving to SF increases your luck-factor/success-percen

Having started riding this roller coaster I particularly enjoyed a view of what pitfalls to be aware of in the future. Also, since I just survived a dual-founder breakup (company intact), it was encouraging to know that this was probably a

The more I look at Titan, the more I think it's a great solution to my needs. Thanks for the great post guys, it hits on some topics I've been wondering about lately.

While critiques are awesome, those sorts of comments actually provide valuable insight. Judging by frequency/consistency of topic, they can be used as a launch point for improving a product. They often include insight into what people makin

Thanks to everyone that took the time to view my personal site and give feedback. I've lost my cofounder since I posted so that makes the site that much more important. Redesigned Site: http://christopherbiscardi.github.com/

The more I read it, the more I agree with you. I was trying to preemptively adjust the font size (I prefer large text and find myself zooming in all the time), but in combination with the paragraph width I'm starting to believe it doesn't w

Fair judgement. The reason for the photos being on the same page is because it eliminates a click, a page load and a move offsite. I'll work to become more knowledgable in the field of design as I clearly have left some issues on the table.

Thanks for the feedback. Perhaps an accordion would serve to condense the information into a more manageable space... or maybe displaying them in a different chart style. I'll have to put some thought into it.

I've been working with node since v0.2.x Mostly JSON API's. I wrote an oauth library awhile back from spec to talk to the tumblr api. Recently I've been moving away from node for API's and towards Clojure, but that's a different issue. As f

If anyone takes a look I'd love to hear some feedback. I'm trying to get into YC this year (with my co-founder) and I didn't have a personal page... so I made one.
