It's cool, but it's got some usability issues for "playing along" unless you already know the chords, etc. The 1/2 time was also pretty choppy for me. Rocksmith [1], which can be described as Guitar Hero for real guitars and basses, does a

Why would you compile Clojure to Scheme? If you know Clojure, wouldn't you be able to write Scheme without too much difficulty?

I'm driving from SD on Saturday (coincidence, not because of the meetup) and I'm planning on heading to the gathering on Sat.

I'll be just getting to SF on Saturday. Can anyone confirm that Caltrain would be a good option to go back and forth from SOMA?

I appreciate the feedback. The content here isn't how I want to represent myself in the future, I'm going to try to keep writing, but switch to more technical topics where I can express myself in a different and hopefully more useful way.

Is the angle of my hat the reason people are posting about brogramming? I'm going to change the photo as I don't desire to be associated with being a "brogrammer" (or how distracting it apparently is to people), but I'm not sure I understan

Ignoring the hours argument. If incentives for the founder do not align with the incentives of other people involved in the company there is a completely different problem at hand.

Keeping in mind I'm a younger, single person with no serious debt and I live fairly frugally; I haven't taken a contract in a couple months. I'm currently living off of the money from my last contract and working on a startup idea I formed

Thanks for the tips, I've looked into the List monad, but I'm sure there are some useful ones I haven't looked into. Stacking IO Monads seems to be a useful topic. I'm also looking into Warp and Yesod for the req/res Monads.

I appreciate the separation of reputable from pseudo. I did a search, but a disproportionate amount of the content was fluff and pseudo, and I don't really have the expertise to tell quickly between the closer cases.
