Flight / aerospace is probably one of the worst analogies to use here! As you say, it is one of the most regulated industries on earth. Versus whatever AI is now - regulated by vibes? Made mass accessible with zero safety or accountabi

Yeah, definitely more skeptical for communication pipelines. But for coding, the latest models are able to read my codebase for context, understand my question, and implement a solution with nuance, using existing structures and paradigms.

I've heard Finland sends out letters, same with Japan. Are there actual consequences, or can they just be ignored? Norway I haven't heard of anyone getting anything in the past decade. The ISPs supposedly get letters from lawyers

I use microsoft authenticator, in its own work profile for work. I also use fingerprint login for Nordea, the Proton Suite, my personal 2fa program. Biometric works great on the Pixel 9A, at least, and it was fine on the 8 Pro when I had it

Oh I also misunderstood! I did send an email to DNB Bedrift customer service about Graphene support, citing the private app fix. They technically gave me a response that it would be looked into, but it felt very handwavy, and that was 3 mon

Do we really need warehouses full of "just in case" inventory? It's not life or death, it's just slightly more profitable for companies to overproduce than it is for them to attempt to meet demand exactly. Climate change

My tiny diesel car (2008 Toyota) needs its auxiliary heater below around -15 C for highway trips. It's a switch in my dash that burns extra fuel, otherwise the engine won't get up to or stay at temperate.
