I think Steven Pinker had good takes on mimicking human cognition in his book, How the Mind Works along with describing Computational Theory of the Mind (CTM) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computational_theory_of_mind

I would also say that Tcl has been used AI and data sciences efforts when it was once called Knowledge Discovery. http://www2.lbl.gov/Science-Articles/Archive/sabl/2005/March... I downloaded the codebase

Um, yes distance being calculated by a smarter calculation than Pearsons or Euclidean, a variation of RV or something that closely mimicks the way our minds compare for similarity. No bag of words or naive Bayes. True probability.

So were stuck at IQ/EQ too. Not so. We will adapt and thrive throughout the Multiverse as we have done throughout history. We will discover intellect that is greater than ours. Any other thought is a fastrack to suicide in terms of Tim

My goodness, we are dumb enough not to produce/engineer a machine that's smarter than us. Think about this. The human brain is the best pattern matcher in existence, lets use biomicry, like the human race has done in the past, to

Mimicking a portion of human cognition should be #1. For example: What do you think of when you think of the word "sky"? Our machines and algorithms need to produce an answer similar to yours.
