Note the latest PR attempt by HFCS manufacturers to re-brand it as Corn Sugar. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100914/ap_on_bi_ge/us_corn_syru... Clever, since if it reads 'sugar' on the label it's easier to be overlooked.

While I really like all the properties of this wonder substance, I'd be more cautious about the possible negative effects. With plastics we have a big problem with pollution (Big Pacific Garbage Patch comes to mind), and toxicity (BPA, etc)

With programs and ideas like these ( http://www.buffalonews.com/city/article201702.ece ) there is a permanent log of everything. I'm tempted to think that companies are hoarding all possible data to be mined so they'd look more appealing

I also would not pay anybody to store the music. It's just cheaper to buy two external hard drives and keep them in sync. As time goes by I have noticed that most of what I have downloaded is becoming extra baggage to log a round. I keep go

I am not sure it works like this. You can only listen on communication if you are the first node (you will know the contents, where traffic comes from and the destination) or the last node (you will know the contents and the destination but

Thank you for the link. Looks like a good read. My idea of the network like this is more about privacy than anonymity. And it shouldn't be too hard to set it up. I am just bouncing the idea around to see what others think of it.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think all communication between the TOR nodes is encrypted. So if you run a node locally (as you should) nothing is revealed. However if you just configure your browser's proxy settings to use outside node all

Plain-text requirement is almost offensive. However, I've been toying around with the idea to link bunch of dedicated servers with OpenVPN tunnels and let users connect to them via OpenVPN server (tls) also. The idea is to form a closed or
