Is there a cheap version for hobbyists? Or what’s the best thing for hobbyists to use, just cut and paste?

Is Claude code expensive? Can you control the costs or can it surprise you.

> Do I ever use AI applications to quickly check something and then discover that hours have passed? This used to happen on Wikipedia all the time back in the day. It was called going down a rabbit hole. Actually a cool phenomenon IMO.

Does Anyone else actually want more AI addiction? I really forget to use it when it could be a useful resource.

I wanted this but the price seems way high. By the way, could this concept be scaled up to cut wood?

It’s weird all these office jobs are mostly unevenly distributed UBI with weird rules around it.

I see your point but off the top of my head: a simple regex on each document for a list of dental related words that then gets earmarked for a small LLM to determine if it includes a toothbrush concept.

You can use a “formula” and make excel write offensive stuff too.

I guess using history as a guide it might be like self driving. We mostly believed it was right around the corner in 2012. Lots of impressive driving. 2025 were so close but mostly not quite human level. Another 5 years at least

Dumb question. If they’re willing to pay so much for AI talent. Why won’t companies hire experienced software engineers willing to learn AI on the job? Seems like there should be a big market for that.
