I'm curious how tools like Claude Code or Cursor edit code. Do they regenerate the full file and diff it, or do they just output a diff and apply that directly? The latter feels more efficient, but harder to implement.

Most things don't work. You can be an arm chair critic and scoff and you may be right a lot of times. But you'll also never really build anything of note and/or have crazy hockey stick growth in your life.

If you are using local models for coding you are midwiting this. Your code should be worth more than a subscription. The only legit use case for local models is privacy. I don't know why anyone would want to code with an intern level m

This is not my post but it does resonate with me and I have noticed it with my workflows as well. Like it or not this is the rapidly approaching futu...present?

Have been doing the same except I do use React because its my hammer haha. But I agree if you're not used to it then pure html/cs/js make sense. https://www.hackyexperiments.com/micro

I created a media editing app that lets you do some of the most common video editing tasks (cut, resize, compress, blend audio etc). It's browser based so your files never leave your machine and is very fast (leveraging the latest and

Currently 0 fees since they are promoting it but probably will add something (relatively) minimal later on.

I sort of agree, but I hate the premise of this article because it sneakily focuses only on the potential harm of human + AI collaboration, without acknowledging the good. That said, I agree that human + AI can cause damage and it’s precise

About a decade ago, a famous Business professor looked at Uber, then valued at $17B as a private company. Even assuming Uber captured 100% of the US taxi market, his math didn’t get anywhere near that number. He concluded Uber was overvalue

The way I work with Claude Code is to stage partial changes that I am happy with gradually so its easy to discard unstaged changes. It's a hack to mimic the keep all undo flow in Cursor Agent. Hopefully they can just have an easier way

The problem with these companies is that they suffer from the equivalent of golden handcuffs. They already have customers paying through the nose for overpriced products. It is very hard, psychologically, to admit you cannot charge the same

Have been seeing these rants since the incident. Yet no concrete suggestions. Just high level hand wavy stuff like "better package management". What does that mean? We already have mandatory 2 factor, private npm registries. Ultim

Very cool. You can pair this with a 3d printing service add on to monetize a subset of the products. Can also potentially sell the aggregate query data to vendors.

I’ve always wondered: what if we could actually use this heat? For example, could we take the heated water from cooling a data center and pump it to places that need it (Greenhouses, Industrial processes, Desalination and water treatment)?

The Indian IT sector is almost certainly going to be decimated (at least in its current form), and we haven’t really wrapped our heads around what that means for the world’s fourth-largest economy. https://www.youtube.com/wa

I try not to fall into posting generic content. Instead, I focus on sharing real things I’ve built or done, hoping they’re actually useful for someone. For example, my last post was about a weekend app I put together, and I always try to in

As others have mentioned the problem is that of scale. Perhaps there needs to be a rate limit (times they ping a site) set within robots.txt that a site bot can come but only X times per hour etc. At least we move from a binary scrape or no

The problem you don't know which innings we are on and it may very well be the 4th/5th. More often than not you lose more by not participating in the run up and waiting for the collapse. I'd rather ride the wave (as intellige
