Enjoyed this post. I've dabbled with regular pixel art, but never quite figured it out and haven't found much in the way of good tutorials.

That's unsurprising since they have had layoffs and been upfront that there is more to come. Unlike layoffs that make the news, allowing/encouraging "natural attrition" allows companies to fly largely under the radar.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking. The problem is that without deep immutability this is still open to abuse/miss-use. When I'm creating an immutable struct I'm trying to prevent future developers from accidental m

Yes I'm aware. You can define methods/functions on most (if not all implementations of struct); Ruby's is no exception to this. The parent indicated they didn't understand why both struct/class exist because there i

The libraries that provide immutability often provide stronger enforcement than this new Data class. I like the idea of something like this as part of Ruby core, but this was a chance to do it right and I don't think they took it far e

I can see why this was added, but I don't see myself using it anytime soon. If I just need a bundle of attributes and don't care about immutability then I will continue to use Struct. If I do need immutability I will continue to u

In reality there is a lot of overlap between structs and classes that the intent seems to be a bit lost on modern devs. They were intended (going back at least to C++) to convey different things. A struct is a light abstraction of related

I'm confused. It seems like you are implying that trans fat is benign? Trans fat is absolutely harmful. The FDA banned adding partially hydrogenated oils (source of most trans fats) to foods back in 2015 and said trans fat is no longer

The older cars like the 2005 Chevy Equinox are great for repairs. You can just buy a Chilton or Haynes manual for most of these which gives a complete vehicle tear down and details step by step almost all repairs.
