There’s a great Belgian comic strip called ‘Le Chat’ by Phillipe Geluck. It’s for adults, it is great.

You’re also likely not interviewing for what you’ll be doing if you get the job there anyways cause who’s got time to update the interview scripts, right?

I wonder if as a species we can ever get more comfortable with death. We’re built not to be I realize, and we should never be for those that are young but I feel like we should be ok with living 80ish or more years and then clocking out. Th

Then at least wear a badge / uniform with a daily assigned number velcroed on front and back. And let this be unmarked by a court order if warranted.

Kaplan (?) seems to have this figured out. When I went in for GREs 15ish years ago, it felt like going into a minimum security prison. I could see those being popular as interview centers. Big company pays some company certified to provide

Whatever you think of him and of course he has a large bank account and a TV show, clarkson’s farm on prime was good at highlighting the slim margins, tight schedules and how at the mercy of the weather you are.

Totally agree. Just in those cases where death in the next month is inevitable and significant suffering is guaranteed, I guess to me (right now) it’s more about acceptance and mercy.

I know it’s easy to say but you do hear stories of families going to extraordinary lengths for an elderly loved one to give them a couple months of low quality of life. Is it the family trying to feel better or hoping for a miracle, or the

Don’t lead pipes or any pipes for water actually get a patina of calcium carbonate or something so while not great it’s not as bad as told. Only if the ph of the water changes because you change the water source, kinda like in flint?

Old maps (and perhaps new ones) used to add fake little alleys so a publisher could quickly spot publishers infringing on their IP rather than going out and actually mapping. I wonder if something similar is possible with LLMs.
