I think it's more about disrupting the protesters' ability to coordinate than you getting fresh footage from Kazakhstan.

Just to play devil's advocate, it's also easier when they come at you with automatic weapons and cut law enforcement officers' heads off.

Can't imagine the amount of whack-a-mole and backtracking involved in refactoring this many headers in a large project. I've done this for a small project and it's a migraine inducing type of work. Yet so valuable. Kudos!

There is only one outcome because what you decide is deterministic. The experience of making a decision creates the illusion of free will. "Mensch kann zwar tun, was er will, aber er kann nicht wollen, was er will."

As a brief summary, I spend a couple hours every day working through a textbook. In choosing what/how to study in mathematics I'm driven by two considerations: 1. It's important to master the basics before anything else. So I

I'm studying mathematics. Now on chapter 11 in Spivak's Calculus. Interested in learning stats, differential geometry, classical mechanics, relativity, and quantum after. Would be interested in discussing math ideas, proofs, probl

Why does having that ability imply free will? What is "conscious" reflection? I think "consciousness" is another one of those terms that masks our fundamental misunderstanding of how things work.

A belief is an act of conjuring complete information from incomplete information. I think all beliefs must come from some nonzero amount of evidence. They seem absurd when evidence from one domain is transferred to a different domain in ord

I don't think this is outrageous but it is an original thought. Indeed, only those things that reproduce reproduce, and persist across time. To what end?

Free will does not exist, everything is 100% deterministic. There is no "randomness", it's a shim we use when we haven't discovered the physical law governing a process.

I agree. From personal experience, this sort of phrasing comes during a temporary high that you get after mastering a topic. Conquering a piece of technical material elevates you, and in a sense you want to be condescending towards your ign
