If there were so many deaths of innocent people with knives involved as there are deaths with cars involved, and if there were a safer alternative to knives, sure.

Every time someone shares something from some source, I block the source. It improves the experience indeed, but people never cease finding different sources.

Well, nowadays someone can easily hijack a truck and drive it in a crowd of people. And maybe self-driving cars don't need to be connected to the internet?

So far the statistics are overwhelmingly in favour of computers doing less mistakes in traffic than humans. Furthermore, if we had mostly self-driving cars, bugs found could be easily deployed to all of the cars, fixing the problems once an

I dream with the day that humans riding vehicles will be forbidden by law unless the driver would prove the need for human driving. So many deaths would be avoided.

All I wanted from facebook regarding that problem on how to deal with news on my timeline was one option to hide all shared links and content and show only my friend's original content. When I want news I know where to find them and it

Thank you for the answer, Dan. Would you also be able to clarify why Facebook uses an alpha version of React in production?

Does that justify alpha dependencies?

I'd love to read an answer to this: "what do you expect from a framework with more than 1000 issues on github that will let you install alpha dependencies by default (React@16.0.0-alpha.6) to develop your native app?!?"

Question for those of you more involved with such headless tasks. Do you think that chromium and firefox supporting headless will induce a surge in bots crawling the open web from now on?

It's not unreasonable to think about 10, 20 or even 30 years with mostly incremental improvements and no ground-breaking changes in both smartphones and smartwatches. I list some examples below. Several of them are already under develo

I see some parallel with the work made to automatically convert Go compiler C code to Go code. Strategically wise, I'd rather have the software do the transpilation to the new language and then after extensive testing, ditch the old py
