I actually quite enjoy their displays as well. But their laptops have been nothing but headaches for me.

Part of me wonders whether or not this is some sort of collective joke by Reddit or 4chan or something. Another part of me is not surprised. Dell isn't particularly notorious for their astute QC.

I'm working on something of a responsive.io clone that uses Flickr as an image store. Not sold on the name yet, but I'm calling it Fittr in the mean time. It is mindful of retina displays, only requires that you know the flickr id

Eh, I don't think having a site that allows people to sign up on behalf of other people easily is a good thing.

For those who still want email verification, I believe Mailgun offers a pretty good API. http://blog.mailgun.com/post/free-email-validation-api-for-w...

I think it makes perfectly good sense. You gain a lot of fine tuned control with some of these languages that, without care and thoughtfulness, can lead to bugs.

Gotta keep the lights on somehow, and plus it looks like you can theoretically just go to a bike shop and register there.

I hate to focus on the least relevant parts of the article, but when it says he "buried himself in the sand to hide from police," is that metaphorically or literally speaking?

I'm a bit confused. I'm not a CSS expert by any means, but aren't h tags supposed to represent hierarchy, and by styling them differently in different places (apart from, say, colors or something) largely breaking the informa

I kind of like the way Pure sets up their grid. Rather than doing bootstrap's row-and-column approach, you give things fractional widths, and what should fit into a row does.

I feel like this could end up being a pretty good educational tool to get people/students/whoever interested in developing web applications as well.

If you want to get fancy, add a little bit of style. It goes a long way. data:text/html, <html contenteditable><style>body {color: #333; width: 960px; margin: 0 auto; display: block; height: 100%; font-size: 36px; pad

I love the password dots. People really don't seem to understand that just because you see dots doesn't mean that the field is secure. They really only protect you from people staring over your shoulder, it seems.

Why are the only comments about keys? There are a lot of things you could do with a full year of tracking. Put it inside your bike's frame. Bam, you'll know where it is if its stolen. Hide it in your car for auto theft deterrent.

Personally, I'd rather have "the eye" than posting something and expecting positive feedback. If I wanted that, I'd ask my mom what she thought. At least here, I know that if I get positive feedback, I'm either doing a really good job, or I

It's kinda funny to watch the markets. Once it opened the price shot up to like 120 again, and then went right back down to 75 when the site went down.
