Something like this wouldn't really protect you from law enforcement. They perform forensic disk duplication before mucking around with a drive. If you provide a fake password to TrueCrypt and it starts overwriting things, it would be pre

They aren't charging $20,000 for 15 minutes of work. That number includes 20-40 hours of trial prep, with maybe some other expenses thrown in.

Since HITECH, all medical records are supposed to be encrypted both in transit and at rest. Reading http://www.courthousenews.com/2013/03/14/55707.htm it seems like the John Doe Plaintiff is a hosting company or datacenter, not the HIPAA

I've found that I'm actually a lot happier not tracking all this stuff about myself. I was tracking my sleep, my running, my eating, my stress, my time, etc. Then a few months ago decided that I needed to focus more on living life and l

Who spends 8-12 hours a week on housework, and $4000 a year at Radio Shack? I'm running through ridiculous scenarios in my mind to hit those numbers. I think I've just been nerd-sniped.

I don't think we necessarily disagree. In the blog post, it looks like the author was training people on "true" TDD by using pair programming and a simple game like tic-tac-toe or rock-paper-scissors as the "target". This worked because t

I think that TDD works great only when you have a clear idea of what you're building. I think that TDD is probably not appropriate for a team that is still trying to figure out what they should be building. Software needs to be incredi
