I have, thanks. Of course, a $1K PC will outperform any of these consoles given enough time :) GPU is important for sure, but I think storage performance is as important, since load times and stuttering take me out of the game in a way slig

All true but not necessarily relevant. Hardware is hardware, and I'm trying to compare bang-for-the-buck for equivalent hardware. PS5 and PCs share instruction set, memory interface, GPU type, storage interface (although the PS5 has so

Not to mention the performance difference between Pro and LTSC is night and day on an HDD. All that extra overhead is much less noticeable with an SSD, sure, but it's still there.

My experience as well. There is usually not enough information available to write truly useful tests at the point TDD wants you to.

Exactly, it's also a needless pain point for those switching from Windows, where the checkbox is relatively accessible, if a few clicks away.

I suspect they are removing 32-bit support now to ease the transition rather than doing everything at once. In a few years the pain of Catalina will have faded (somewhat) and presumably they'll only have to worry about backward compati

Such a shame that Valve isn't pushing SteamOS harder (unless I'm missing something?) because they are in the best position to loosen Microsoft's stranglehold, not only in terms of the Windows platform but also controller supp

Razer laptops also make a surprising number of appearances in Mythic Quest, to their credit. I didn't catch if there was promotional consideration, but either way, it's a great show.

The (now discontinued) 12" Macbook was released in 2015 and used the butterfly keyboard first (it was also their first foray into USB-C). It'd be interesting to hear how they went about determining the keyboard was solid enough to

It’s amusing to still hear “Apple tax” in 2018, as if there is no additional value in better hardware, software and support for many people’s use cases.

I think they could have leveraged their friends system to weigh the reviews more based on "people like you". In other words, use all that data to show the rating they think you'll give (a la Netflix).
