That is exactly what they have done. It cuts down quite a bit.

Alright I'll bite. It is lease to own, not an indefinite subscription. First off the device itself is completely optional to use, and infact millions of people don't use or have this device. They operate their motorcycles every da

Because this is click bait designed to create outrage. There are two options for buying this product. One is outright. Another is basically lease to own. Quite a different narrative. Why on earth would you expect something that you failed t

A lot less time than you would think. There are a ton of devices that don't use magnetic memory like SSD and SD cards. So although a lot of data would be gone, the tools to build everything back up would still be intact. Devices like C

Why use javascript for something you can easily do in CSS? CSS grid can do all of that.

If someone can't figure out how to join an IRC channel, do you really want them developing an OS?

If you still want to remain in the cloud? Shell game. Contract another company to setup and run everything on the cloud side and mask the traffic. Hiding the traffic can be as simple as front end proxies into a VPN to AWS. Or even just SSL

This is click bait. Google My Business is a Google maps profile. Of course you are going to need a physical address.

I find that it usually helps, but it is also not instant. So now the post is being shown as flagged now. I do it a lot with spam/click bait posts.

by bhhaskin 6y ago
Why don't you just flag it and move on? Why even click on the link? Not trying to be combative or argumentative. genuinely curious

Fun fact. shuffle doesn't on playlists larger than 25 songs work on YT Music. How did they manage to mess up something so simple as shuffling songs.

I used to think the same thing until last night. Watching the different results come in. The average person already has no clue what is going on. You need a degree in high level statistics to understand why races are called when they are. A

Where is the proof for that argument? Firefox quantum is fantastic. Firefox's warp is coming along nicely. The last release (yesterday) adds a lot of performance improvements. The recent layoffs gained some bad will, but every large o

Need to be careful about using the port on the switch. It isn't a usb C port even though it uses the connector. It has been known to brick or damage the device when used with certain combinations.

The issue is the HVAC system itself creates a lot of heat. It normally doesn't matter in a traditional system as the heat is generated out side the areas being cooled.

Curiosity is powered by an RTG and has no solar cells. Spirit and Opportunity where solar powered, but where expected to only operate 90 days due to dust build up on the solar cells. Solar pretty much doesn't make any sense on the moon

I would say it comes in cheaper as the pinecube is fully standalone device. Where you would still have to buy the pie on top of the camera.

In the update the estimated price is $24.99

Looking at those updates the pinecube looks pretty sweet! I was thinking about trying to create a security camera using pi zeros, but he cube looks way more cost effective and has pretty much everything I could want!

This is a cool article. I have always wondered the internals of JPEG and this has lots of details. Just as an FYI it should be a "Show HN:". Edit: NVM! I didn't realize you didn't post this.
