I like reading people write about how people shouldn't write insignificant shit. While I agree with him, it's always slightly ironic.

Looks like they're finally putting the Simplify Media technology to use. That was my favorite app on iPhone and I used it at work constantly too.

I disagree... I love them both. Everyone knows HAML has a weakness - inline markup - but it's meant more for templates than anything. I typically make my templates with HAML and use erb for the more advanced views. That being said, I rar

Ahh, haha. I see. I've watched certain movies and shows that I found profound without tripping (surprisingly the most profound thing I've watched is the Futurama episode, Godfellas). I've done many many artistic things, drawing, painting

It's not that you code better or write math equations better... It's a temporary change in the state of your mind which helps you see things from a different perspective. Think of a time when you were stuck on a really hard problem and the

There's a major difference in the way the mind of a scientist or engineer works versus the mind of an art student. Whenever I take mushrooms, I usually follow a "schedule" of things to do and try. Others I know will literally lay on a cou

I understand the glamor of writing posts like this -- Yeah! Look at us (or them). We/they don't even care about money. It's all about building something incredible... You won't often find these types of posts from people or about people w

I'd like to see more follow up posts on this subject. Computer vision is incredibly interesting and it would be cool to see you elaborate in future posts on more complex algorithms/approaches.
