The problem is ads and ad revenue, but Google is increasingly scraping content from websites in order to put that content on their own site—To keep users on google properties as long as they can.

A great example of why domain owners need domain name insurance. Domain insurance protects the owner from the loss of the domain, from UDRPs, expiring domains, failed renewals, stolen domains, etc. If it's a high-value domain (or if on

Nice idea but it won’t work. Traffic from google maps shows up as direct traffic with no referrer.

You said that it is showing twitter and fb links. Are you sure this is google maps listing and not a knowledge graph entry? Those are two different things.

Look at ntldstats, you can see the most popular tlds. I’d start with the most popular ones like .xyz and .icu with the most domain registrations.

Yeah I wouldn’t ever use a hyphenated domain for your primary site. Ok to register it and 301 redirect it to your site, but if you use it for your primary site you will lose traffic to the non hyphenated version.

Can you add Epik as a domain option as well?

Epik has a list of the pending delete domains for the next few days in advance. You can download the list. There are good names that sell all the time. You just need to catch them or use a backorder service like namejet, dropcatch, etc.

How do you know that it’s the registrar (namecheap) that owns it and not one of their customers?

I would take a look at Epik.com, customer support is good, and prices are decent. I like their new nameliquidate service, a reverse auction for domains. I usually post domains there that I’m not going to renew.

How do you define “best domain registrar”? If it’s just because of price or because of customer service, then there are a lot of registrars that fit that criteria. Let’s talk about a registrar that will secure your domain. One that will mak

There is a custom search engine called Newgle.xyz that only shows results from the 1000 or so new gTLDs (new top level domains). It’s custom google search results, but since it’s excluding .com, .net, .org etc then you probably won’t see an
