Pretty harsh comment. Maybe OP didn't know that channels cost differing amounts?

I was very confused by the title. I thought it was a blog post that implied that CockroachDB was in-use at Twitch, but it's actually a Twitch channel from which viewers can play with CockroachDB (still cool).

The burden is on the buyer to take that risk or not. If the buyer isn't sure, then they are free _not_ to buy from a non-authorized source.

I don’t think comparing monopolies across industries is justification for a monopoly in tech. A more telling comparison would be monopoly in tech vs no monopoly in tech.

The article touches on why the draw is significant irrespective of paying it back (albeit the source of the commentary is from the same parent company): > “Companies don’t tap their credit line unless they need to,” said David Ritter, an

I just switched to an iPhone after being a long time Android user, and I've found Apple Maps directions not to be as good as Google Maps'. I live in central LA, and it regularly routes me through long and congested intersections.

iMessage pressure is real for me too. I was considering switching to an iPhone for a while but found air message and have been using it for a few weeks. It doesn't have all the features of iMessage, but core messaging works pretty well

The author isn't wrong. You need to learn OTP to know that you don't need it (at least in the very beginning). When I was learning Phoenix, I spent a substantial amount of time learning Elixir as well and OTP is one of the first f

It's not that simple. Announcing a merger doesn't necessarily a high chance of success. A recent, relevant example is Comcast's 2014-2015 merger with TWC that was called off after regulator push-back. http://www.fo
