The answer is that it isn't, and none of these systems ever were. They're distributed, not decentralized. And this distinction, and the refusal to acknowledge it is what put me off crypto entirely.

I'm not deaf, but my primary thinking style is visual. Sometimes it's exactly what you'd imagine - I visualize a data model, or an algorithm implementation. Other times it's more abstract, symbolic, or analogy based

There was a period of time where I brought NDAs with me to network events. Not because I had something to hide, but so I could whip one out when someone was evasive about what they were working on. I wasn't very popular at the time.

I appreciate how thoughtful this comment is. Question, in the gold scenario is your issue with the idea of capital gains, or an issue with how it's accounted (given that you think the gold *hasn't* appreciated)?

>> The FED isn’t even the problem for what you are trying to resolve. I cannot understand why people tend to focus on it. Because they don't know what they're talking about. I'm a capitalist with many socialist friends.

2 Questions: 1. I see you're on v.0.21 - how stable is this? I know the point of the article is that you don't set deadlines, but I'm anxious to implement something that may have breaking changes. 2. How can I pay you? I'

I love this essay because it breaks down how distributed != decentralized. Sure anyone can run a node. But most nodes are in centralized pools running code that few developers can approve pull requests too. I'd bet dollars to doughnuts

You can bury the char or plow it into fields as a soil ameliorant. Or if you wanted you could literally just bury it. Then it becomes a coal plant in reverse

I'm working on agri-forestry and biochar reactors on a hobby farm. Hybrid poplars mature within a decade, and a biochar reactor is a net-energy producing reaction that produces soil improving char as a byproduct. It won't save the

Honestly, the answer is gaslighting. They trust you, they trust this source. State the idea that you want them to believe, and then back it up with a manufactured argument from this source they trust. They won't remember if it was ever
