Upon reading the title, I thought to myself, "not a chance, this person is nuts." That said, I would say it will certainly cause problems for apple down the road, when window mobile 7 is everywhere - and android has a better UX.

what if there was a live search to browse your incomplete to-dones, and also, you could set something on them to remind you about them (through email) in X number of days if they haven't been completed?

I like it, its simple, easy to use nice concept. My only other comment would be, the nice thing about a list - is I can see all of the things I've put on it, its an organized way of knowing I've spelled everything out. What if I forgot a ta

I've been designing for 11+ years, as well as learning code (HTML/CSS/Javascript/JAVA/ROR). I do consider myself a ui designer first, and a developer second - but that hasn't stopped me from trying to learn as much as possible so I can buil

As a designer, I think you'd be crazy to do anything but go professional. Design is undoubtedly one of the most important aspects of product today (if apple can show us anything), and your partners little brother - sucks.

I didn't say I wouldn't be tempted - of course I'd be tempted. I just don't think I'd take it. 3% could be huge over my lifetime.

Its interesting, but no - I wouldn't do it. I'd rather try to accomplish my goals without taking any money - especially feeling like I'm literally selling part of myself.

I would agree that'd be beneficial - and I think at some point it may be worth going for - but for now I think its just too complicated for what we're trying to accomplish.

Hi kmb - we're actually only charting the weight, no reps. I decided to keep the app as simple as possible, 6 months from now looking back at your stats - reps and time spent really wont matter (i.e. if you're tracking your 5 rep max then,

This article which starts with the idea that people do read everything this author writes, is horrible. The grammatical and spelling errors alone stopped me after 3 minutes. Besides the fact the topic itself is without basis.

Go sell your product now. Get some evangelists. The worst thing to do is wait, because unless your product is going to save someone time/money - there won't be a real value in switching for some nicer features if they've already put the eff

You should definitely contact Techstars boston and apply to be a hackstar, I did it last year, and I'm doing it this year. Its a lot of fun, and great networking.

Some ideas aren't feasible at one time or another. I would say never abandon your best idea, and always work towards it - but if you can't work on it presently - no need to just sit around and wait.

In my opinion, the world is not over populated - that in itself is just wrong. I say this because we're screwing up the planet in all sorts of ways, the population size itself, only increases the speed at which we accomplish that. That said

I think customer development (from steve blank's book: the four steps to the epiphany) is a really important subject rarely touched upon in schools. Often times you can sell the product before you even create it. That needs to be communicat

I think this article is pretty ridiculous. That said, designers need to become more than designers - they need to understand UI and UX, thats something a canned template can never replace.
