If Mixpanel is subprocessor of GDPR'd data from OpenAI, OpenAI is obliged to notify affected European customers about the data breach within 72hrs.

I feel it's a bit ignorant of you to double down on your argument and compare a cloned product release by some macbook swinging google engineers with vaccination, which actually positively impacted many human lives.

This only amplifies the often-repeated propaganda about the "very powerful" enemies of democracy, who in fact are very fragile dictatorships. There's enough incompetence at tech companies to f up their own stuff.

I know there are several companies who have done object detection for microscopy images with - I assume - traditional rgb images. I wonder if someone trained their ML model with the spectral images yet. Would be nice to detect parasites or

Thanks, sorry for asking if it was answered already. Would be very interesting to do some microscopy with this approach, as the video mentions medical use cases. There's been a lot of research on this I guess. I wonder if hyperspectral

Well done, thanks for sharing. May I ask a stupid question? In order to speed up this process you'd need to buy more of the broadcom spectrometers which are quite expensive. So instead of buying more spectrometers, is there a way to us

Nope, I dont think it works when painted over. Some vendors recommend colors which are very open for diffusion such as chalk colors, but every other "common" color based on acryl/latex/etc basically seals it from the air

I assume they absorb VOC until you tear down the chalk or clay plaster. With clay the indoor problem is more about radioactivity, but it's best in terms of humidity control. Chalk creates an alkaline environment on the surface which ma

This website hijacks my back button. I just loaded it and scrolled half a screen and every time I clicked back button on the mouse it added another history object to the stack.

Thats why ecological buildings use lime and clay for plastering indoor walls. They can absorb a lot of things (water, fumes) and thereby regulate air quality and humidity.

IMO you're making a valid point, because there seems to be a disconnect between AI and tangible human benefits. The ChatGPT-as-therapy train has been nerfed after the bad publicity, and it is force-fed to people at their workplaces thr

If state actor propaganda botfarms operate in this fashion in other cities, we can try to find more of these patterns. Would be interesting to see a drop in youtube, reddit or facebook user activity correlated with such bust.

Could simply be a propaganda botfarm. Each of these sim cards registers on facebook, youtube, reddit and the faraway propaganda teams use them to relay messages.

They might have randomly spammed phone numbers that have special purpose and triggered some sort of honeypot. Or someone powerful got scammed. Either way, happy they take it down and provide some photos. Would love to learn more details.

Someone should be selling motivational posters with these kind of funny quotes from our dear "tech leaders". There should be a gallery of funny quotes to choose from so I can put them on my wall and feel better about myself.

Oh thanks for sharing this. Many years ago I was asked to code such a thing during an interview and I totally screwed it up, and of course I forgot the name of this technique. I wanted to use it many times in project for non-iteratable IDs
