That should get you pretty far, depending on how big your database gets. Not knowing much about your application, I can't really say much else, though. We started out with a server much like that and were able to deal with a good techcrun

This entire argument frustrates me. Let me just go on record as saying this is childish. Hype or fad is never a reason to use or abandon any programming language or framework. Rails is useful, period. It has an extremely broad community
