I can see the benefit of flooding and it’s great to see that the government is managing the forest, but there is almost no information in this video. It’s YouTube pocket lint.

On what basis? Twitter is a private website. I agree that this sucks but really just don’t use twitter.

Unfortunately there’s no lobby paying the bills equivalent to Disney to go the other way.

Apollo historian here, it was sometimes round the clock but even then most stuck to shifts. Check out Apollo 13 at ApolloInRealtime.org. All Mission Control audio is in the app.

Interesting to read how quickly Apple closed loophole, but this article is essentially a long “my prediction was right” piece by the author; good for him.

Author of Apollo in Real Time here. I contacted soma once about maybe partnering or something and got back a "meh"

Hey thanks for the kudos. Honestly I used the difficulty of inventing that timeline thing as an excuse to not start the project for over a decade. Turned out to be pretty straightforward.

When building Apolloinrealtime.org, I never imagined that I would be helping out with NASA flight operations. It's been a wild ride, and our little team is now poised to make a big difference in enabling our return to the Moon. Anyone

Hey there. I'm the author of the website. Thanks for the post. Happy to answer any questions.

Possibly, long after the fact when the historical material is in the National Archives. But I'm within NASA now, and I have optimistically already registered artemisinrealtime.org. I'll be making something.

100% I've been hired at NASA to do just that. I'm currently working on a similar system for flight controllers to use internally for ISS spacewalks (like the one happening right now). Ultimately I'll be creating a system that

I'm no expert, but it looks like you have a virus hijacking your traffic. What's with the .xn--org urls? Or maybe it's just a super overzealous adblocker.

Yeah, it's nothing special. No trendy JS frameworks. The UI was pretty much just whatever I could think of in terms of layout, then a friend of mine helped to design it up a bit so it didn't look like a developer designed it. Wish

Tell him to turn off ad block or antivirus. If he's unable to load in the mission data files through ajax the site will just hang on the splash screen.

Thanks for the fresh eyes on this. Just added a "close" button on the mission control audio interface that pops you back to the photography tab and unmutes master audio.

BTW, you can generate links to any channel at any time by clicking the little link button when the mission control audio console is open. Here's the moment in question: https://apolloinrealtime.org/11/?t=171:04:09&
