Every time I hit an app like this I get sucked in, and start imaging myself as the next master of chiptunes. And then I want to make a game to use the music. And then the baby starts crying and I remember why my side projects falter before

I'm fairly sure that spammers are sending legitimate-lookingailing list type spam to do exactly this. Appear like misdirected mail to catch email addresses.

Is any of that necessary? Applying extra scrutiny to the president is not unusual.

My reading is just that there was documented demand and they likely lost talent over it.

I think the points about challenges or switching and the likely future of heterogeneous office/remote balances are all strong. Where this lost me was on this claim about salaries: > I suspect the multipliers companies use to determi

Proud to see a number of Canadian researchers and institutions on that list. I wish them all success in their work on this.

There needs to be consistent and safe bike lanes first, including sharp enforcement against drivers who don't honour them. I made the same decision years ago at University. I'd much rather risk a ticket or minor pedestrian acciden

That is found in pretty much every TOS/PP on the internet, including my own. Do you have a specific problem with that language? If so, how do you use the internet? I don't mean that question in a "how do you even" sense.

This is so bizarre for me because it's like a flashback. I was seeing errors exactly like this in Firefox years ago, around 4-5 years or more I'd say. This was on windows 7 64bit with a probably outdated install because my favor

Because disposable emails are trivially used by casual users and companies see phone number as harder to falsify (correctly, IMO). It's not impossible, obviously. We know SMS can be hijacked and spoofed, but the casual user won'

In your examples, the tomatoes were the flavour element you enjoyed, not the main caloric driver. That was the pasta (probably wheat). Your example agrees with the GP.

Maybe perhaps we could try to raise the level of discourse across the board? Why does it have to be a cess pool at all? We really have to do something to reduce the firehose of twitter/FB bots and trolls with no accountability. It'

Walmart plays a heavy part in this game. They have such an outsized share of the market for Consumer Packaged Goods that they can bully manufacturers. When economics suggests the price of, say, some condiment needs to increase, Walmart simp

THat's not right, the same is true of JS. You'd run a "build" step on a system you control to transpile your fancy modern JS back as far as you'd like official support and put the output JS file on your webserver. U
