There’s also a difference in the way people handle money once they improve their financial situation. They tend to be cautious, and save money instead of spending it. There are exceptions, of course.

Nowadays, I mainly run Linux in a VM - being it WSL2 on Windows, or a plain old Ubuntu VM on macOS. I do so because of the Linux ecosystem, not the operating system. For instance, the package managers are way better than anything that macOS
