I've had this idea for so many years now: your gmail account has - let's call it - a master password and a throwaway password. Say you need to print something from a public PC, you just use that password that works only once, even

Kotlin examples on the site are not much different from Java ones. They're almost identical in length. Why bother to use it and add one more step for translation to a compiler chain that is already very slow. Same with Scala. I once po

Initially I thought the same, but looks like it's only a web application, not the software you'd ship with the node.

I don't want to sound bad, but again you couldn't do it. Say you have 2k engineers for next two days. Where do you begin?

You couldn't. No way you can delegate work to 2k engineers and tell them what to do for next 2 days. Physically impossible.

You can do this with a RPi and a RFID reader. Every station would have a tag, when bus stops tag is read and your script just announces the station.

How about use an FPGA for this? Use an architecture and ALU and implement a software which would monitor and output op code and ALU for any given time.

There was also Motorola Atrix and one can get that laptop/shell for $75 on eBay. I wonder if their app works with it.

Are they planning to release any libraries? HTTP interface is quite good but I think it'd be better not to have the HTTP overhead and have an direct interface.

If it runs on Ubuntu it'll run on almost any Linux distribution ;) -- Though, not sure if sse4_2 is enabled on every virtual machine.

In order to use this, you have to have know SQLite, given that, why would I spend time to learn something that wraps around it? Most of the time you do a insert/update/view, something that a simple helper class would do well.

I used a bash script to do this, until I got a laptop that has only a mini-display port. Now I don't/can't connect to anything :(

One of the good things I saw is that stabilized camera: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/revl-arc-the-first-stabil... So cool.

Very cool thing. One thing that I didn't see and would be easy to implement is a map of connections between objects such as characters with the chapters etc. It'd be great for the writer to see such connections in a visual way.

It's not a matter of a few extra MB, but number of libraries, more libraries equals more bugs equals more problems. I'm not saying only play has this problem, almost all java frameworks from the time of play have similar propertie

The performance and elegance of this is breathtaking but I couldn't find if it has hot reloading built in. If you have to recompile every time you change something, you're going to have a baaad time.
