Amazon does not deploy changes during times that they feel can be customer impacting. For North America this means that deployments will be during the night.

I remember being a kid, and playing that game at a local pizza place. It was the only game that ever gave me nightmares. The voice was just so evil :)

But we can look to states like Washington - where there were 2 votes - 3 years apart on gay unions. One established domestic partnerships with all the state-granted rights and responsibilities of marriage. The other legalized same sex ma

I agree with this. I went to a strong American school, and if I look at the co-ops/interns/fresh grads I see from my Alma mater and those that have come from Waterloo, on a lot of areas they're pretty much on par (Comp Sci f

That's not really accurate. 4 are usually college hires, at 5, other job families can split off. Engineers, Managers, TPMs, Product managers, etc. they're all in parallel. So you have Level 4,5,6,7 and higher engineers as well.

Try again later. Really - each interview loop has different people who look at different things. Just because one set passed on you doesn't mean that another will. If Amazon seems like a place you'd like to work, there's

The standard deduction for a single filer is "only" $6,100. It doesn't take a very large mortgage to combine with real estate taxes and other potential deductions (State Income tax/Sales Tax) to move you out of the standard deduction categ

I wouldn't say they taste the same - there's an overlap area with some where there would be confusion. But there will be whites that are simply not likely to be confused with reds, and vice versa. Though if you handed a white wine from t

It's a pretty major part though. The study that I remember reading was done in Australia with white wines that had been aged for 5 years with different closures(though in the same environment). The sensory results did indicate that the

Synthetic cork has been shown not to be as 'good' as the natural type for certain cases. For one reason or another it either lets too much Oxygen through causing the wine oxidize too fast, or not enough causing wines to age slowly. Wines t

Wow... that's the exact opposite of what I like to see. I want to see a thought process -- not someone throwing together code to get something there. When I've seen people like that get hired dealing with their code long term is painful.

If you're looking at it full time, then yes, but my partner just finished her part time AA in WA, and the peak we had for tuition/fees/books in any one year (she did it in a little over 3 years) was $2100 (the link you had shows the maximum

That's not quite true - as shown in your link, gatekeeper's default (at least for now :) is to allow App Store as well as Signed Applications. If a developer is willing to get their application signed, then end users will still be able to

The natural posture, position, and size of writing on paper discourages that. It's also essentially impossible for me to step in and point to/mark up their code (and then erase it). The paper takes away any of the collaboration that can o

As an interviewer, I'd much rather see your intermediate steps - the messy parts, etc. I feel like I can get a better idea about how you work and think. Interview questions (for me) aren't about "can you solve this" they're more about tr

It's likely because of the way the Amazon FPS API works. You can set it up to pay directly to a third party while keeping a cut for yourself. That way Kickstarter doesn't have to act as an intermediary that collects the money and pays the
