We were asked by the staff to re-seat at different table from the 'laptop class' in Montreal cafe because we were speaking in normal voice. Sample of one, but still.

I read the article but didn't get how the authors got the data. I understand that IOS/Android leak nearby Wi-Fi to Apple/Google and that was like that for years. But how I can get access to such bulk data to reproduce the map

Not enough supply. Even with the US population growth of 0.4%/year one has to build a whole new Phoenix,AZ worth of housing. That's just not happening.

For me that list looks not that good compared to Asahi Linux for M1. No GPU, no camera, no suspend/resume.... I won't be spending my money on that platform until that sorted out. And judging from the other ARM platforms that means

You are shifting goals, from the population growth to the fertility rate. Indeed some countries more that others are growing because of the migration and not fertility. Also that's not a new phenomena at all. All that doesn't neg

Prices never went down in Canada for any substantial amount. Even 10% means we replay back to 1-2 years. Government of Canada actively intervene and change the immigration rate and the discount rate to keep prices from falling.

I would break it down in two parts. 1. Coffee shop Wi-Fi router is compromised. Than that's a possible vector. 2. Bad actor sitting in the coffee shop and trying to carry out attack similar to the one described on the link. Fortunately

It's rapid because it's exponential. Add there decay of the existing housing, add the fact that a lot of folks living alone. All that translates to the higher demand for units.

It has nothing to do with VPN. Attack on the mined CVE is a general type of the malicious DHCP attack described in any CCNA level book since 90s.

This is a perfect example of the CVE mining. There is nothing novel in the attack nor it's a security problem. DHCP environment must be trusted. We do have IP Source Guard and DHCP Snooping for decades to avoid scenarios from that li

Those discussions are irrelevant given the population growth. UN is consistently wrong about populating growth. Earth population doubled in last 50 years.
