Schemaless is great for quickly bashing a hobby project (or PoC) together. Not so much for larger scale for the reasons you gave.

Very strange, the official vue.js guide linked in another comment gives me the same "corrupted content" error too. Unfortunately this makes me immediately suspicious of vue.js itself... -e- FF 62.0b15 here, and both sites work in

Your distro's wireguard-dkms package is your friend.

You also gain extra hardware and protocol support by going to a Linux based solution e.g. BSD does not support 6LoWPAN or any IEEE 802.15.5 hardware to my knowledge.

It's sad to see so much duplicated effort. What does this accomplish that a few patches to the llvm implementation couldn't?

Has that happened to you in the last couple of years? I've been using Arch for about that long on my desktop and the only issue I've ever had to resolve is outdated AUR packages with hard version deps.

I can see that angle. We're all used to curated packages from distro maintainers, whereas Windows software is like the wild West, especially for those not so technically competent.

It's closed source crypto software. You can make your own judgement on how acceptable that is for you. Jason Donenfeld (Wireguard author) strongly recommends against it [1]. [1] https://lists.zx2c4.com/pipermail/wi

In a similar boat with my old 4770k and a new RX580. I'm kicking myself for the k model though, as I would like to pass my old GPU through to a Windows VM, but the unlocked k model CPUs don't have VT-d, necessary for IOMMU.

A quick Google struggled to find much. I did find that DVB-T has a transport stream called "System_clock_descriptor" with identifier 0x0B [1]. [1] Pg. 22 https://freeviewnz.tv/media/1216/freeview_dtt_tran

Receiving the signals is only a part of the problem, and even getting a "fix" isn't all that hard. Maintaining an accurate fix, and at the same time refining away previous errors, on a fast moving vehicle, is a dark art.

HT also doesn't help as much on FP workloads simply because there are less FP execution units to share, e.g. Skylake: https://en.wikichip.org/wiki/intel/microarchitectures/skylak...

C++/Qt for GUI, Go or Python for backend, Python for misc scripts/prototypes, C for uCs. They are all well trodden paths with plenty of good libraries available, and good tooling available. I have spent a bit of time playing with

These guys continue to do a great job. If you're looking for a nice cross-platform C++ IDE that supports multiple build systems this is it. I'm looking forward to upcoming meson integration (GSoC project IIRC).

Totally agree. I mostly type on Cherry MX blues, and a 2017 MBP. I just setup some stuff on my 2012 MBP (using it as a CI slave, the only reason it's not my daily driver anymore is because the battery is down to only 2-3 hours)... the

I was thinking kernel to/from outside kernel IPC, sorry for the ambiguity. Some documentation can be found at https://developer.apple.com/library/archive/documentation/Da...

Yep, my understanding aligns with yours. Mach ports are the IPC mechanism for anything outside kernel address space.

They pulled some of the low-level I/O drivers into the kernel because the IPC overhead was too great. They call it a "hybrid" kernel rather than a pure microkernel.

Do they pack them into the final boxes/packaging somewhere close to the end destination? Because those boxes haven't changed in size AFAIK. My 2017 MBP came in a 70 mm tall box, same as my 2012 one.
