The only "bitcoin" that can succeed is the one that is originated from a sovereign state. For then it has the monopoly and can enforce its taxing power that is what ultimately gives value to fiat currency.

It isn't a currency, it's just another payment method. Your provider will exchange the bitcoins for a real currency to pay their employees and taxes.

I think that OVH is the third largest hosting provider in the world. Operates its own datacenters in North America and Europe. It's at the same scale as AWS. That's why it makes sense the comparison.

Maybe the poor don't feel guilt, but the argument is deceptive. For the rich BI works just like a small tax deduction. Lets say a rich person pays taxes for $1000 and receives $10 as basic income. It just amounts to paying $990 in taxe
