That’s not what I said at all if you read my comment. I said immigrants, who are educated, vote like the rest of the educated do. I also said because the GOP has racist policies, it’s actively hostile to immigrants. Your oversimplification

It’s because legal immigrants are overwhelmingly well educated so they vote like the average well educated American does. It also doesn’t help that the current GOP is more or less openly racist so a vote for them goes against basic self pre

Well this product is probably already healthier than actual bacon though not nearly as nutritious.

There’s a difference here though. Someone could decide to do something and have it ready to go the next day with a prime delivery and like a hundred bucks.

I don’t think you can do this anymore, cats out of the bag. I mean hypothetically anyone can kill someone with a drone right now and it would be pretty hard to track down who did it. Just have a drone with a gun or knife attached and fly do

White flight was unadulterated racism. It wasn’t because the black family that moved down the street started being violent. It’s because whites did not want to live on the same street as them. Of course caucasians would be a victim of ~90%

Well overall happiness is intangible. If we base it on tangibles like easy access to food, convenient and cheap transportation, safety and security, health care, recreation, mortality rate, access to information etc. there’s no comparison.

I’m going to get pushback but the far right has really made it easy for the common person to look away. All that hate has made it easy to get the general public to not care when privacy is being taken away. They always ruin everything.

I don’t know how to say it but it feels like it has no gravitas. Like the original lord of the rings had gravitas, battlefield galactic a has gravitas, the wire has gravitas. What’s making this so… bland? It’s not just the writing I presume

I think there’s a second order effect here you’re not seeing. Social acceptance makes imbibing orders of magnitude less stressful and you can still call yourself a “normal” person while doing it. I think that makes a huge difference.

But every culture has been using intoxicants to change their head space for as far back as we can see. Everything from marijuana, alcohol, hallucinogens, dissociative, stimulants etc. as and everyday part of human life. Might we not have ev

I’m optimistic too, not always though. Atleast I know the source on my unhappiness. I just dislike working in a team. I’ve taken a few years off between jobs and those have been the happiest years of my life. I have plenty of hobbies and do

The rate of change of acceleration is going to be massive in a cannon though. That intuitively feels worse than very high acceleration but with a more gradual increase in the rate of change.

Yes, I realize there are varying degrees and in many if not most cases it makes sense. There are a very small number of cases that are an unbearable burden on the entire system and if not checked it will bring the whole house down for every

Special Ed is as stupid as doing open heart surgeries on 85 year olds to give them 3 extra years. They’re an enormous burden on the system and are ruining everything for almost all of us. Why do severely mentally handicapped kids even need
