This kind of thing is why I am looking forward to "No Man's Sky" VR release tomorrow. No-one is likely to complain when I colonize a planet far off the beaten track where the highest form of life is a small feline creature wi

I think this is an excellent point. The current emotional baggage with nuclear is stopping serious investment into this tech, which I believe has the potential to save the planet. Gen IV nuclear is completely safe from meltdown, and some va

Reliable recurring revenue is better for long term stability of a business. Joe Average on subscription is better for their overall "health" than the ups and downs of "no-one's buying this month because something amazing

The Witness was one for me. The whole game made me look at the real world in a different light. I played it with headphones on, and the volume loud enough to hear the crunching of gravel under my feet. The first time I found one of the &quo

Interesting. I never played more than a few minutes of this game, because the learning curve was more than I was willing to put in at the time, and I died on the first encounter. I might have to give it another go.

In case anyone thought that was real vaccination, it's a method to present the typical fake news tactics in an attempt to help you to recognize them for what they are. The link to the actual game is here: https://getbadnews.

I suppose in this day and age, with OCR being as good as it is, you could take a picture with your phone, and be able to search on text in the picture. Now I think about it, I seem to recall Evernote doing something like that a while back.

Let's just say I would have done things very differently if I knew then what I know now. I learned a LOT in the whole process. I was a lot more naive back then, and could have done a lot of things a lot better.
