judging from https://objectivefs.com/features sounds like maybe they're just packaging s3fs-fuse and then charging for it "as a service"? they're extremely light on technical details.

What user does your web browser run as? Do you use chrome? Any Chrome extensions use the NDK?

A java applet could exploit this. With a little work, a Flash load in Safari (or really any browser) could probably exploit it. This is a real 0day.

I don't understand what you're implying. This is a 0day that could be exploited from any number of outside channels.

I made this as a really lightweight alternative to things like pusher and pubnub. It's basically just a bridge between SSE, WebSockets, Long-polling, web hooks, etc.

So, I'm taking from this that the moral is to always do your best work no matter if you think it's a just a toy or if you actually want to sell it. Sometimes toys accidentally become products.

I can't imagine there's anything in this for Quora. They just raised $80M last month! I suspect they're either launching a new product or pivoting completely.

I've followed many links to Quora but bounced every single time because of the stupid signup wall. Subsequently, I've banned them from my Google search results, same as Experts Exchange. SO and Reddit are sharing the Q&A lun

More interesting than a third-party deeplinking service (URX, AppLinks) would be a directory of deeplink schemes/uris so we could just use them as-is instead of proxying through some other guy

Your description of the problem and solution is too verbose. I need bullet points describing 1) my problems, 2) how my problems are solved by this. I'm not going to read a full-on blog post to figure out if this is relevant to me.
