Evan Williams doesn't sound like that interesting of a person You can't conclude this just because you don't like the style in which the New York Times writes its "The Boss" column.

A is better. The kind of person who prefers B doesn't hire 16-year-olds to work remotely.

My solution to procrastination: 1. Identify the activities you procrastinate (for me, writing scientific papers); 2. Rearrange your life so you don't have to do them any more. (I just left academia to do a startup.)

It doesn't matter. His primary goal in giving the talk himself was probably not so much to teach people about memcached, but more to signal his values, one of which is that Facebook is a company where technical contributions are highly rega

Could "recently" mean 2003? http://www.nytimes.com/2004/02/12/technology/circuits/12shar... While writing the software, "I lived on savings for a while and then I lived off credit cards, you know, using those zero percent introductory ra

Whoops, sorry. Suppose we try to explain quantum correlations by postulating that as soon as one member of an entangled pair of particles is measured, a very fast signal travels to its partner, updating its state. If the signal is instantan
