All people who work in marketing are dishonest. You literally can't trust any of them. Edit: I guess sarcasm should be mentioned.

God damn. Not all defense contractors work on the NSA spying technologies. Personally, I think it'd be cool to work on anti-missile guidance systems or fighter jet avionics.

There are a few open source libraries for managing CoreData from a higher level now (like NSOperation for GCD). This post by Mattt Thompson (of course) on NSHipster has links to wrappers, adapters, synchronizers and utilities for working wi

This is my certificate/profiling debugging workflow - most of which Xcode does for you, btw: 1. Is your certificate expired? Yes - renew it obviously. 2. Is your provisioning profile a wildcard (com.company.*) or specific to an identif

I was an art major that learned Objective-C and launched an app in 3 months (calculated the most drunk for your buck in my college town - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/red-cup/id477350446?mt=8 ). Now I have

Sure, but statistics is on your side too. More enrollments has a higher shot at increasing the number of star programmers than not (all education and teaching ability staying the same).

It's kind of bogus. There's more reasons than what you're listing - and some help the author's statements. For starters, why throw a résumé away because it doesn't have [Top-Tier CS Program] listed? Make the potenti

All I'm saying is that the US isn't all sunshine and daisies. There are a TON of poor areas (rural and urban alike) where it's just not safe to live, kids don't get enough mental and physical nourishment, and there'

I've been toying with the idea of recording an open-source album, or at least recording the entire album the way I want and source-controlling it on Github at first. After the initial launch, I'd open-source it and start a whole r

There's a TON of intangibles that this data absolutely cannot tell you. Watch people's facial expressions as they look at the end of aisle displays. Watch where the kids go, and you can probably sell to their parents there too. Ev
