Looks awesome! I can't wait to get my hands on an iPad at work and download it. I love vector drawing/illustrating - and based on your other comments, I'm hoping there's some export functionality (even as svg) in the nea

That's awesome. Congrats to making the money, and raising the issue correctly - as well as not going off of the ethical deep end.

Probably not great in the office, but having a nice craft beer shouldn't be discouraged - it opens up the thoughts, creates an aura of relaxation and can promote conversation and creative collaboration pretty damn fast. Not everything

It's never that simple - and making the product awesome and launching at 95% can introduce way more rewards than launching at 75 or 80%. I think the concept of an MVP is regarded as the word of law around here, and sometimes an MVP loo

Don't worry about a thing. I have an Art/Advertising degree, and I'm an iOS engineer right now. I got here by programming my ass off.

I know it goes to another website, but is the database connecting to the new website, or is the new website connecting to the old website that connects to the DB? I feel like this matters for SSL reasons.

Here's where we differ. Adobe Illustrator is like a canvas on an easel. Visual manipulations appear right in front of you, and then you can dive in and inspect. Change a color easily and know if it's right immediately. Not commit,

Yeah but it's actually a lot of fun to design in Illustrator. I don't think the creators of this icon set would have wanted to do all of this stuff while not in Illustrator - or at least I can't imagine me wanting to do that.

You can do this now @(100.5) for NSNumber literals.

I wrote a utility class with idiomatic Obj-C color methods like the one you mentioned and more. I hate to plug it, but I'm fairly proud of it. It also generates color schemes when you throw a UIColor object at it, and includes 100 diff

Almost all of that stuff you list is actually waaaaaay easier than you give it credit. Setting up a programming environment is not hard, and is done in parallel with programming. Don't like that font? Change it here. Want this hot key

To me, it's a clear blend of both of the giant tech monoliths (and more, really) and a satire of the entire tech culture where the next sharing app is raising obscene amounts of money for an exit to a handful of monoliths.
