Absolutely agree with all of that. Parentheses was my biggest hurdle in learning Knockout. Refactoring is a bit of a challenge also if you go from unobservable -> observable because of all of the parentheses.

I'm a big fan of knockout. Learned it about a year ago and it has saved me from writing a lot of code. I can't see going back to the old way at this point. It doesn't try to be everything, but what it does, it does well.
