Rich brought to light recently how much of a mess the used Tesla experience (no longer CPO) is as well. There are two more videos, the situation is resolved after many months and Tesla execs intervening. https://www.youtube.com&#

Even a plugin electric hybrid would be a big in my opinion (30-60 mile range). We have owned a Volt now for over a year and it has been great. Since owning it we average 75 mpg. My wife can nearly drive to work and back on all electric.

Having bought and sold quite a few houses now I can say I won't go down the FSBO route anymore. I successfully bought my first house this way, but selling it was a train wreck. Not fun dealing with selling your own home at all. I e

I had a "plan" but it was still a leap of faith, leaving a 8-5 steady job with no income. My enabling factor was a good amount of savings and low debt. I had around 1 year of comfortable living to figure it all out. Staying at m

Assuming Microsoft ends .net framework at 4.8 that effectively ends new features. Although older code will keep working for the most part isolated that isn't the real issue. For example I ran into an issue last year where we had to r

This was a hard lesson to learn for me as well. It is something I strive for now though even running my own business. I maintain boundaries like strict work hours and try to keep my work away from my life outside of work.

These are underrated. I have the original Xiaomi and it works great. I sold my $700 Neato botvac connected and paid half for this one. It isn't even the best and can do our whole house with no intervention consistently.

We'll see how long this blame game continues. My guess is that it Spacex will continue launching rockets (as normal) and Northrop will keep getting Satellite contracts. The fuss will likely fade away if the satellite (or whatever it

It is a trade off. It isn't as nice as a wired system. My setup would have required multiple boxes and several extremely long difficult to get to runs. I had 5 blink cameras setup and fully working in about an hour. So it was worth it

I've had a 5 camera system for the last few months. It works well and didn't need any wires ran. The app needs some improvement, but overall a pretty neat product.

If you looked at all of this objectively it was clear it was coming. What is alarming we have not seen yet is one of the larger exchanges shady behavior become exposed (hello Bitfinex). I still think this is coming and will likely make the

Sure I could short Bitcoin, but it cost me nothing to speculate about a crash. I also make the assumption when I see the FOMO argument that the person has a stake in Bitcoin/Crypto Currency. Perhaps both of our assumptions are wrong?

I totally agree. I'm confident a crypto coin crash is coming to eclipse any we've had before. The combination of volume, transactions/second limits, and weak exchange infrastructure; when people want to get out things are g

I've lived this type of life for the last 5 years (solopreneur as you put it). Reading the other comments it seems like you don't have very strict boundaries of work time. You're getting a lot of good feedback. I agree wit

I'm pretty stoked we are staying right next to Jeti park on spring break and are planning on watching this launch tonight from the beach. We've got to see one other Delta IV launch, but really looking forward to seeing this one.

I've seen a lot of people come and go doing things like that. The vast majority may get a potentially large short term benefit but long term typically get penalized. Do report them as others have said if they are building junk sites.

If the bridge sites pass the test of being legitimately useful information rather than just spammy then I wouldn't consider what they are doing as black hat. This test is subjective or at the mercy of Google's current algorithm.
