The first thing I did when seeing private keys in the documentation was to check if they had anything in them. When they came up empty, I figured someone else would come along and do the same thing. I suppose my experiment was to see how qu

Wow! Tried it with the other private key[0] and the same thing happened. Upon some searching it looks like the recipient belongs to a Russian named amaclin on the Bitcoin forum[1] who has a script running to empty published private keys as

I think the 5.75% return is over the 48 month vesting duration, on the extra money you would have earned (and invested). So, the excess (per year) would be something more like (50 (1.0575^3)+50 (1.0575^2)+50*(1.0575^1))/4. (Though it s

Ah, that's pretty cool. Otherwise you can use things like vanitygen to create a similar address. I just created https://duckduckgo.com/?q=1NhLgwwuiyVsBuk3NgJHDztZZ6ejBySbsj

If you keep track of either the short URL or the long URL somewhere on your end, you can get the other part using bitly's link API: http://dev.bitly.com/links.html and the associated metrics with the link metrics API:

I would suggest reading through the Express (or any popular project) source code to improve yourself as a JavaScript developer. As you do, there will inevitably be things you notice that should be fixed. E.g. typos, edge cases, refactoring[

Technology can help to a certain extent, but only if open source and handled client side. No amount of encryption on Apple's (or any company's) end will matter, because users can no longer trust them.

Why not make % accepted requests the KPI instead of # sent requests? The former would encourage a message for every request. The latter encourages mass emails to address books, accidental requests, etc.

What about reputation? I regularly do more than the legal minimum for my clients and there are companies who do the same for me. Meeting the legal minimums only makes sense for commodities, e.g. this salt is 99.5% pure. This software is 99.
