Is altruism entirely about self interest? I'm not saying that to take away from it, but people do things to feel good, or because they get something out of it. Either way you are being rewarded. This explains plenty of bizarre outcomes

If I listen to X band. Watch Y film. Am I doing it purely for myself or have I been prodded by society in some way? Am I a 'real' fan of band X, or not, because I only got into them with there latest hit album? This isn't a n

So why isn't the batch checker taking on that responsibility? Doctors aren't responsible for anything and everything that happens. If they've had a drug tested to check it's safe, after informing the patient, what else i

How does that justify a 30 fold increase? If an individual Dr can get a batch checked while saving the patient money, it obviously isn't justified.

But where does that leave us when programmers treat themselves as architects with the AI doing the drudge work? As seems to be the fashion. It then means you have 2 parties focussing on the big picture and no one focussing on the details.

I don't think "make it work" necessarily implies starting with the wrong language. It's sort of like "premature optimisation is the root of all evil". That shouldn't imply you should use completely the wro

You say this just as Google's AI is confidently telling me 'c.addi4spn' is 7 characters long. So from my perspective you still need to know how to do the thing to catch the errors. Also, are you not missing out on the unknown

'last century' 'turn of the century' etc just make me think the 1800s. So I just say last millennium. Probably get confusing again when people start referring to 'the 20s' not as the 1920s.

You do realise that Gaza isn't a separate country? Not that it's the same country, as either option would require Israel to give it's citizens voting rights, or it's rights as an independent nation.

To build on what others have said. Multiple motors per axle allow you to get rid of the diff, and you get torque vectoring basically for free. Then there's braking. More driven wheels means more braking energy that can be recouped via

Same here and I started uni in 2003. At home it was dial up and you had to unspool the wire across the house from the phone plug to the computer. At uni it was fast. So you could actually load images by default.
