There’s only the minimal amount of knowledge needed. I think a manager is no different than a soccer manager. Their role is to train the player for the role they’re best fit for. A manager has to build a team with the right skill sets. And

A YouTuber cant use their likes to get the best lawyer can they? Even if they can (promos), it still means the legal system is unfair. The ones who benefit the system the most benefit from it.

It’s sad, even the place that is supposed to be fair isn’t due to money. Money rules too many of America’s systems. But I have a feeling that money will always find a way to be influential.

I’ve been recording for a couple of years except last year was really difficult and am slowly picking it back up. Here’s something I recorded in the past and you can check other stuff on my SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/

I think this is an interesting point however, banks today aren't just their IT infrastructure. For banks to function there are so many things that have to work, right down to the local branches and ATMs (and physically moving money aro

I agree with this sentiment. I like the idea that, people who invest in crypto will think longer term about using that crypto to buy things. Just because it is deflationary doesn't mean people will spend less, they'll have to thin

What if a bunch of countries peg their currency to crypto like Bitcoin and it becomes so valuable that one day jobs return to America due labor being cheaper in the US because we were to stubborn to chain our policy? Lol is that a thing tha

Agreed I find that ml is a meta tool. You gotta Know the tool you need, then use ml to build it. Build the wrong tool and there’s little value. The right tool will make people more productive.

This is one of my all time favorite movies. I’ve seen it probably 30 times and it is always just as good. A lovely lovely story. As others mentioned, Arrival is similar and that is also a top movie for me.

Just because someone is broke does not mean they don’t have Safety net. It’s easy to make no money when you can always move back home or get support from family. But if you have no safety net (financial family support), then not making mone

Exactly in order to have 15000 Einstein’s from a population of 1trillion. You need 1 trillion living above poverty. We can’t even get 1 billion out of poverty. Ha. To me colonize Mars seems like premature optimization.

Valid concern but with preparation and also with a coach and also listening to your body, it shouldn’t be a fear. Injury is going to happen, you could be walking down the street and hurt your ankle. The most important thing is working on f

I like the idea of moderating through providing feedback on the arguments people make. So it isn’t enough to moderate for civility, it’s moderation of the discussion. Like flagging things for logical fallacies. And also promoting those who

I really like this comment. It's almost like distraction is a symptom of escape from something in our everyday lives. I think one part is curiosity like the other commenter said, but I also think that part of it is seeking distraction

If people weren’t living paycheck to paycheck I guarantee you there would be a shortage of work. People work the essential jobs out of necessity. So ask, how is it that people end up living paycheck to paycheck? What system is in place that

If someone is not working for McDonald’s but is a productive member of society, does it matter that they are incentivized to not work? This idea that people who aren’t incentivized to work are lazy and don’t add any value to society highlig

Donate it to a charity, go buy Stuff from the local economy, not amazon. Support small time business, buy gift cards to use later. Lots of useful ways they could prop up the economy.
