Indeed, it does deal with the message loss. I was momentarily confused because in my many thousands of bullet chess games on Lichess I haven't had much of any message loss that can be attributed to Lichess's servers (but plenty wh

Outline is used for :focus and :focus-visible, so box-shadow is nice to have for hover so you don't have to repurpose the outline for it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that hash fragment is sent to URL previews in otherwise encrypted chats. I did that too in my own program and it felt wrong. https://codeberg.org/macchiato/encshare-app I think I’ll change it

I see a pattern of open source leaders being judged more harshly than proprietary software leaders. I think it’s because of a feedback loop. It started before the current crop of social media. People saw they could criticize Theo de Raadt m

Ubuntu patches all the time. WordPress could have done exactly the same with patches! Good idea. Sometimes a patch isn’t enough so there is something like SilverWolf. That’s kinda like ACF/SCF.

I don't see it catching on that this is a "supply-chain attack" (from the article, but what came to mind when you said that it seems pretty damning). It isn't an attack because it's done deliberately by the owner (y
