Having Command-Z and Command-Y work with actions such as deleting a post or logging in doesn't help with having a proper undo system undo anyway. Command-Z and Command-Y should be for document-based undo. Give the user some way of know

I think it's nice to explore both approaches, but that an equally robust implementation can be made either way. Where yours might shine is if there is a lot of change in code directly accessing the data structures. The code directly ac

Using two stacks doesn't actually make it more robust. I think using a private property for the stack would, though.

Wow, the optimistic UI example is so simple: https://svelte.dev/docs/svelte/$derived#Overriding-derived-v... I wonder what Ryan Carniato, the author of Solid, thinks of it.

I guess a full time vibe coder would develop an intuition based on experiences with vibe coding and launching stuff and getting feedback. This process would increase their level of understanding and intuition.

A lot of the people participating probably had some cliche in mind like Burning Man or Bay to Breakers that takes away from the authenticity of it. They could have started having a group meeting up at Dolores Park. It would have just been o

A vibe is intuition, so it can't be too much, else it isn't vibe coding. However, the intuition that comes after taking some time is different than after a quick glance. For instance if you read a pull request and then immediately

Commit date isn’t very accurate for showing something is maintained, but can show if something is unmaintained. 5 months doesn’t mean something is unmaintained. Try 2 years. It does raise concern though. 5 months absolutely doesn’t show som

I would, under my understanding of what vibe coding is, provided that the prompt and vibe check processes aren’t overly limited. My understanding of vibe coding is that you prompt, the LLM does something, and if it passes the vibe check you

It was the equivalent of vibe coding: > The polygons the algorithm had drawn were consistently of poor quality with stray nodes and nodes far outside the pool boundaries, and the imports hadn't been discussed with local communities.

Not a bad idea. Arch also comes to mind, and its support on https://copy.sh/v86/ is a testament to its flexibility.

I agree. The author could go after msgpack, they don’t have a magic number, but support using the .msgpack extension for storing data in files. Since a magic number isn’t required at all, it shouldn’t be required to be good.
