This is ridiculous. Bicycles were near 50 years old by 1930. There was a ton of riding done before nicely paved roads were everywhere. The Tour De France is happening right now, it was first run in 1903 and covered 1500 miles, with rid

This thing would totally work for me, and I get both the Honda "small is better" ethos & the design aesthetic. I live in the Suburbs, my driving is usually ~10 miles a day on work days. There are no busses that are helpful fo

I was just mentioning that I haven't really given Kobo a shot... so I could be in the dark and Kobo is better. But I hear enough through the woodwork that I have been under the impression using Kobo would be trading off annoyances with

I've backed up my eBooks from time to time & cracked some books over the years that I had purchased & wanted to put on another device but a lot of the time I don't worry about it. I got my first kindle in 2010 and bounced

I am a bit younger, graduated HS in 1995. But I'm essentially of the same generation and learned on the same stuff. QBasic -> Turbo Pascal -> C in high school. I made a simple video game in my senior year of high school that

That's really informative but to me that's a little misleading since they are counting the Volt and other plug-in hybrids as electric cars when in reality they are burning gas. Tesla has taken such a beating in the press about the

There are things that are sad about how that growth affected southern NH. I spent huge amounts of time bicycling & motorcycling through NH when I lived there. Southwestern NH (everything pretty much west of Nashua) stayed pretty nice ot
