I really wish there was something like f.lux ( http://stereopsis.com/flux/ ) for iOS, or at least without having to jailbreak and do whatever else, because then I might be able to use my iPad in bed to read a bit before sleeping. Having it

Thanks for the writeup - while going through the levels, I was wondering how some of this stuff was set up from the game-master's perspective. This was really fun to play, and I learned a thing or two (specifically the manner in which you

Back in 2000 my wallet, including my Visa check card and other credit cards, was stolen in Paris. I called the bank right away, got cards canceled, had new ones ordered and all that. I get my checking account statement and see several char

I knew a DJ who had a MD dash unit in his car. It seemed like the coolest thing ever. I had a MiniDisc component unit and a portable or two, one of which was the one pictured in the article. I dumped the component quite some time ago. I

I paid a year or so ago, whenever the Textmate 2 beta came out for Textmate owners. I've gotten far more than $50 out of having access to Textmate 2 during that time. I don't feel miffed at all.

One cool feature about the Square mobile app is you can set up geofenced "tabs" that automatically get opened if you get close enough to an establishment. So you keep your phone in your pocket, walk into Starbucks and order a drink as you d

I wonder how this plays in with chargebacks & consumer protection from cards. If Google's partner bank is a proxy between the merchant and, say, your Amex, what happens if you need to invoke a chargeback? Does Google's partner get invo
