At this point, it definitely works, but it depends on the distro and how much tweaking you're willing to do. I've got hybrid graphics working on a Dell XPS 15 with no real problems. Bumblebee works like a charm when set up correct

Windows is definitely still a closed source operating system, but the code for putty is definitely available on the same page as the downloads. I assume it has the same security concerns, but at least you can look at the code.

Have you seen Negroni? It provides a simple framework which solves some the middleware problem. It doesn't use dep injection, the code is more idiomatic and you can use it with any HTTP mux/router you want.

It's decent, but the complication introduced from the possibility of different tags in different source files poses a problem. I'd rather have all my deps in one place. Additionally, it completely breaks if you depend on a package
