Your point on cloudflare is something I'm grappling with for an application I'm working on. On one hand I would love the simplicity of something like cloudflare pages or vercel etc. Their preview links on pull requests and automat

I really like the minimalism here. As coincidence has it I'm working on a similar application that focuses on note taking and offers publishing as a secondary feature. Your comment on image upload being costly rang very true. Have you

I really enjoy the vibes of these sites, although it's not the style I would want for myself. Is this a solo project?

Nicely done, I like the look of this. Heads up, the links in the footer don't work, including the privacy one.

I really like the clean design and immediate access to the demo. When you say privacy-first do you mean the items are encrypted or that you promise not to collect data?

You're right. But the story is presented as a personal failure without critically examining if the environment had a part in this.

Exactly my thoughts. They expected him to show initiative at an executive level while actively being excluded despite only being a PM in rank and presumably salary. Sounds like they were exploiting him.

While it does sound like a joke I agree to some degree. 3.99 is supposed to make me feel like its 3 bucks instead of 4 and my monkey brain probably can't override the initial emotional response. Knowing this I feel kind of insulted tha

Reminds me of the mechanism twitter used to crop images based on gaze prediction [1]. If their model is anything to go by we know which parts of a bikini picture we will see in high-res first [2] [1] https://blog.twitter.com/

You can get somewhat close to that on Hetzner. Very stable in my experience, too.

I don't think Australia cares what you do with Austrians ;)

I'm seeing incredible battery life in firefox on my M1 macbook air. Although maybe I just don't have high expectations after my linux based lenovo before this.

> Then you effectively have two teams, isn't it? I've been in the exact situation before and that's the conclusion we've reached. In principle, but that doesn't mean you get two PMs now or that the customer makes

I agree. This requires some understanding of the strategy and the PM ideally mentions what shouldn't be told to the customer.

A team of say 10 people will quickly fragment along e.g. backend / frontend lines in my experience, both in general exchange and code review. Sparing 10 minutes a day to exchange information is well spent in my opinion. If that's

As a developer, I appreciate dailys simply for having a birds-eye view of what's going on. If I'm demoing our application to some business people and they ask me what the state of development is on some feature I'm not involv

That's exactly the problem I'm facing. Especially if there are multiple shares to the same data it gets tricky. Love to see public roadmaps in products btw.!

Thanks for answering! Regarding the second point, does the application do this automatically or is the user expected to re-encrypt data manually?

I've been thinking of a similar system with e2e sharing of content and I'd love to pick your brain on this if you don't mind :) - What made you go with libsodium over using the browsers Web Crypto API? - If you stop sharing a

I see. Then the expectation is that the user charges only at one charger, as otherwise a token might be reused at a different charger. Thanks, sounds interesting!
