Yeah, I remember smartphone companies using "one" in their product names a lot back then. Even now we have Google One, OneDrive, Apple One, etc.

Counter point: AI makes mainstream languages (for which a lot of data exists in the training data) even more popular because those are the languages it knows best (ie, has the least rate of errors in) regardless of them being typed or not (

I don't like it when old people are the reason the rest of us can't have nice things. Some grandma in Nebraska can't use 3D touch and now the rest of the demographic of Apple's customers are deprived of it.

This tactic is usually used to attract VC money down the road. VCs don't typically invest in plugins/add-ons; they prefer products.

Literally has no value at this time. Apple lost the AI battle and Tim is cooked. The nail in the coffin was Apple's reluctance to allow their own MLX team to use the source code of Apple Neural Engine (ANE) to make performance improvem

At this point, the entire AI industry seems to just copy OpenAI for the most part. I cannot help but notice that we have the same services just offered by different companies. The amount of innovation in this build is not that high actuall

Great, yet another hyped up word to keep the AI hype going... I respect Karpathy, but I can’t shake the feeling that recently has been doing more damage than good to the AI community. First he came up with “vibecoding“ and now this one. Wha

Recently I've been shopping for cars and I really wanted to purchase an EV this time but because of the the lack of good infrastructure in the US for EVs, especially for non-Tesla vehicles, I decided not to go the EV route. Also, I

Haskell has an interesting syntax: it is intuitive after someone explains it to me, but not intuitive much before the explanation. I don't think it's because I'm used to Algol-based languages (C, Python, etc.). Every Hask

Great, now this stuff gets fed into LLM trainings and we'll see them in the next-gen model outputs. Seriously though, I love "abusing" programming languages in unexpected ways. My favorite so far is: https://evuez.

Yes! The main pain points I've faced are: 1. There should be no need to create a project to use the Vertex Gemini API. I know Google AI Studio doesn't need a project, but that API is limited compared to Vertex API, which brings me

One more suggestion: Please remove the need to make a project before we can use Gemini API. That seriously impedes our motivation in using Gemini for one-off scripts and proof-of-concept products where creating a project is overkill. Ideall
